what I love most about
traveling on the stretch
of roads between
Santa Cruz and
Stenson Beach
is rollercoaster nature
of the roads.
when I say
roller coaster I am
referring to how you
have climb up and down
great mountains that
are extremely curvy
causing you to almost
make a complete stop in
navigating the curves
on the roads.
while the curvy parts of
the road was very scary
to us when we first
drove them, some other
driver were speeding
around us like it was .
nothing.
after traveling the roads
more than 10 times
I still get butterflies
riding on Highway "1" !
in many ways riding
the roller coaster at
Santa Cruz Amusement
Park is very similar to
driving the roads of
highway "1" north and
south of the golden
gate bridge;
only the amusement
park takes about five
minutes and the
highway "1" journey
takes more than
three hours. !
